Product updates and improvements, newest first.

  1. Integrations

NetSuite: chart of accounts, budgets & document-level lines

Three new data scopes: create your chart of accounts from NetSuite (and keep names + active state in sync), pull ERP budgets into a plan version, and drill to document-level P&L lines with a deep link per transaction. Actuals now carry the department dimension, and vendor/customer imports can map any source attribute onto custom fields.

  2. Headcount

Plan a raise or promotion in one click

The position editor is now person-centric: a header for who someone is over a list of time-slices. Hit Add change, pick the month it takes effect and adjust what changed — a raise, a promotion, an FTE change or a move becomes a new slice, prefilled from the current one, and the old slice ends the month before automatically. Editing anyone opens their whole timeline, and it all saves together.

  3. Integrations

Monthly sync, a group-wide roster, and help that stays on screen

Automatic sync now runs monthly on your day of the month (weekly gets a weekday picker), every run in the history opens into its full record, and the sync preview shows every imported column — pay, dates and your custom fields — with a loud up-front warning when your role couldn't write to a target. Headcount gains a multi-entity filter (pick a parent, get the whole group), a search box, sortable columns and years on start/end dates. And every (?) help bubble and sample peek now stays fully on screen.

  4. Platform

Custom fields — import a whole catalog, and nicer editing

Download the custom-fields template, fill one row per field and upload it back — every valid row becomes a field, with a preview first and safe re-uploads (existing fields are skipped, never duplicated). Select options are now typed as pills (Enter adds, × removes — no more comma lists), and every field can carry a description plus a help text that shows as a (?) hint wherever the field is filled in.

  5. Integrations

    Integrations: fine-tuning from your feedback

Discover gets the example-record pager and cleaner samples; field mapping trades the sample column for a compact hover peek, shows every custom field as a row and marks your edits as yours immediately. Value-mapping rows stay put while you map, the sync preview shows a bigger sample and warns up front when your role can't write to a target, and re-mapping a subcompany now moves people to the new entity instead of duplicating them.

  6. Integrations

Integrations: real samples, a real preview, sync on your clock

Discover now shows real example values from your data, and field mapping gets an example-record pager (‹ ›) plus a sample per row — check the mapping against real people, not descriptions. Value mapping uses the same table as field mapping, the dry-run renders the first rows exactly as they'd land, and automatic sync is a toggle with frequency and your local time of day. The AI still only ever sees aggregates, never an employee's value.

  7. Platform

Custom fields — across your whole model

Define your own typed fields (text, number, date, select) in Settings → Custom fields; they appear in the object's dialog right away — on positions, entities, departments, locations, vendors, accounts, versions, drivers, assets, assumptions and metrics. And the Personio sync can fill them: map any source attribute — including your tenant's custom attributes — onto a position field like cost center or career level. Fields you maintain by hand are never touched by a sync.

  8. Headcount

Your real roster lives in Actual

The Actual version now holds your real org as facts — synced from HR, imported, or maintained by hand — and an empty plan version starts with one click from the Actual roster. Payroll is never derived in Actual (booked payroll stays with accounting). Plus: add a new vendor right where you plan its spend.

  9. Integrations

Integrations: AI mapping & scheduled sync

Discover now saves a real snapshot of your source — every field with type and examples, every department, office and account. One click suggests the whole mapping onto your model (AI with confidence, exact matches automatic, you fine-tune), and any connection can refresh itself daily or weekly with a run history and failure notifications.

  10. AI

    Routine templates

Start an AI routine from a template instead of a blank prompt: Weekly burn check, Month-end summary, Runway alarm, or Budget hygiene. Each opens the editor pre-filled — review the instructions and cadence, then save.

  11. Integrations

    A clearer integrations catalog

Brand integrations now show their real logos, and the catalog is split into Available now and Coming soon — with Stripe, SAP, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Shopify and PayPal on the roadmap. Connection tiles say Connected, Not tested yet or Error in plain words.

  12. Dashboard

    Dashboard views & focus suggestions

Keep several dashboards per workspace and switch between them from the new Views menu. Save any arrangement under its own name — or create a ready-made view in one click: Cash focus, Planning cycle, or Board pack.

  13. Planning

    Plan vs. Actual, visually

The Plan / Actual Grid gains a Visual display: full-year bars per account against your compare version, signed variance chips, and a month-by-month heat strip — where you stand, at a glance. The numeric grid is one toggle away.

  14. Design

    A sharper interface

A design pass across the whole app: terminal-style labels that let the numbers dominate, higher-contrast navigation with a smoother collapse, and quieter motion throughout — in light and dark.

  15. Integrations

    Personio connector + richer headcount

Sync your roster straight from Personio (HRIS). Positions now carry first and last names and a variable pay component, so payroll planning matches how you actually compensate.

  16. Integrations

    NetSuite, end to end

Connect NetSuite with OAuth 2.0 machine-to-machine credentials, test the connection live with SuiteQL, and sync a consolidated P&L into your actuals.

  17. Accounting

    DATEV standard charts of accounts

Start from a full SKR03 or SKR04 chart — pick it during onboarding or apply it later from Settings → Chart of accounts, then edit freely.

  18. Integrations

CSV & Excel import, round two

Drag several files at once — real .xlsx included. A four-step flow with a mapping matrix, per-file progress and clear diagnostics, plus vendor mapping on import.

  19. Onboarding

    A guided start & a real Inbox

New workspaces get a full-screen guided setup — company basics, chart of accounts, entities and your first plan. And the Inbox is now driven by real notifications: budget approvals and requests land as actionable cards.
